The purpose of the International Conference on World Evangelism (ICWE) is to stir the hearts of Fundamental Independent Baptists regarding the need for planting new churches in America and throughout the world. We pray that God will inspire men to respond to His call and for women to yield to His leading for missions work. It is our purpose to encourage likeminded churches, fellowships, colleges, and mission boards in our shared desire to glorify the "Lord of the harvest" through evangelizing the world.
SAVE THE DATE!!
The next ICWE will be held November 1-4, 2010 at Fairfax Baptist Temple. It is our vision to have a major international conference that will deal exclusively with the Great Commission. We are praying for a Holy Spirit led renewal to the worldwide need of church planting and hope that we can help one another with a movement to get back to the basics of world evangelism.
Topical morning sessions will be held each day, and services held each evening with multimedia presentations, special music, testimonies, and a special message from God's Word. Everything during this week will be focused on missions and world evangelism.
3/1/10 Update: Registration will now begin April 1!
ICWE Seminar Series on World Evangelism
Pastor’s Program
The purpose of the Pastor Seminar Series is for a host pastor to invite a group of young pastors in his local area for a one-day seminar on church planting. Dr. Bud Calvert will teach the pastors concerning the necessity and the “how to” of raising up church planters and how to guide these young men through the process of planting a church—and much more!
College Program
Intended for college level pastoral/missions majors or seminary students, Dr. Calvert teaches for about twenty classroom hours on the heartbeat of the local church—world evangelism. The students are given a notebook of information that will be an invaluable resource as they graduate from an educational environment into the real world of ministry. Dr. Calvert walks the students through the Great Commission—a plan developing the students’ initial burden for the local church into their first meeting of the new church. The seminar easily lends itself to a graded course format with daily quizzes, supplemental readings, and graded essays.
