Our Children’s Bible Study Fellowship classes are age-appropriate and fun classes designed to teach the Bible with the ultimate goal of seeing children saved and serving the Lord.  The classes meet in our upper Children’s Wing as well as our lower Academy level.  Learn more about your child’s specific class including who their teachers are below:

Serving and ministering to first, second, third and fourth grade boys and girls is one of the most important ministries in the church. If we can train and teach these little minds the truths of salvation and righteous Christian living at this tender age, we will influence them for life. Elizabeth Matzko and Nadine Stilwell are the teachers for this fun hour of learning Bible truths. We consider it both a privilege and great responsibility before God to make this hour of teaching extremely spiritual and exciting.  Each week the children memorize verses, sing praises to God, and hear a Bible or missionary lesson.

5th-6th Grade A-4

Lower Academy Level

Welcome to the 5th and 6th grade Bible Study class!  They use lots of visuals and worksheets in class to learn more about the Bible. Everyone gets challenged to apply Bible truths in their lives as they seek to "grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ." The highlight of this past year was an ice cream social where the children got to "serve" their families. Many other fun activities are planned to enjoy serving the Lord.

Worship service for Children's Church, also called Jr. Church, is held Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for elementary age children in grades 1-6. These services coincide with the adult worship service and immediately follow the 9:00 a.m. Bible Study Fellowship time. The program always consists of singing, an offering, preaching, and additional activities like special music, a puppet program, a Bible quiz, learning the books of the Bible, Bible verse memory, or stories.  This is a fun time for the children but also a time for them to hear God’s Word preached at a level that they can understand.  Activities are planned throughout the year including cookouts, field trips, and summer camp.

Our AWANA program meets on Wednesday nights at 6:45 p.m. before our evening service.  On average over 200 children in K4 – 6th grades participate in this fun time of memorizing scripture, playing games, and learning about God’s Word.  Adult leaders supervise and work with the children, and activities are planned during the year including the popular Pinewood Derby.  Your children will love this time of interaction with kids their age and develop friendships that last a lifetime.

The Master’s Kids Choir is a ministry for children in the 1st through 6th grades with more than 85 children in the choir. The goal of the choir is to involve children in ministry by instructing them to be servants and to glorify God in all that they do.  Directed for the past fifteen years by Mrs. Georgia Wieler, the children present four musical dramas from September through April —missions-themed productions in October and April, a Christmas program, and a patriotic program in February. Many of the programs are original works written by our Missions Director Dr. Ted Wieler. All of the doctrinally-sound programs present a Salvation message.  There are plenty of opportunities for teens and adults to be involved in the choir by helping with props, costumes, and working with the children as they learn the songs and memorize the script.
